Some people ask why I would want to be with someone younger than me (I am 55 and single).
I list the following reasons:

1.) as you get older, alot of the good ones have been taken. The nice, warm, feminine, helpful girls get taken and held onto. So, what can be left is those who are not nice, angry divorces etc.
2.) alot of women have life baggage when they get older. Now, this isnt necessarily bad, but when someone has multiple kids, exes, in-laws from previous relationships, etc. they can create minefields for a relationship that are too cumbersome. Also, it often makes relocation or mobility impossible.
3.) younger people are more idealistic and optimistic usually and that is how I am. More open minded and inquisitive. Qualities that I like.
4.) Many people let themselves go when they get older. So, usually someone younger hasn't gone down that road yet and healthy life habits can still be established.
5.) I happen to have natural leadership and more traditional qualities and values and it just feels absolutely natural to be with the kind of person who likes that. They are often younger than me.
6.) I feel a have so much more to offer now than when I was younger. I have figured myself out. Slayed my dragons am on a great life track.

Is there anything wrong with this? of course not.
It is so crazy at a time when men are women and women are men and interracial is fine, and bi is fine and switch is fine and poly is fine, to find anyone judgmental about age gaps. Also Age gap relationships are exceedingly common and noone mentions those. Biden was a powerful US senator in his mid 30s when he met his wife who was in college. Trump is 24 years older than his wife. Macron in France was only a HS student when he met his wife who was his teacher (nearly 40 (this was not ok, by the way). Baldwin, Gibson, decaprio, Allen, Clooney, Ellison, Musk, On and on and on.. we could lost a thousand such healthy examples.
