Post Body

Alright so I am a bit confused on the information I’ve been reading Basically my scenario is me and 2 of my buds are only going to be in Munich Sep 13-17th. The only day we plan on being at Oktoberfest is opening day on the 16th. We have an air bnb like 3 minutes from the festival grounds.

Now I’m very aware of opening day being a shit show when it comes to the amount of people, but I’m trying to figure out our best course of action.

1 we’re trying to find the most fun tents for men in their mid 20’s. Which do you recommend? Really just trying to have a great time.

2 I’m aware of people lining up super early to gain access to these tents but it honestly doesn’t sound any fun at all to go so early especially when they don’t serve beer for another few hours. I also believe I’ve seen that they kick people out after a certain amount of time OR they have a morning to afternoon session or evening sessions? (Please clarify if I’m wrong?) I’m sure we’d probably not have to go so early and would probably prefer to be within a tent in the evening. How would this work out or is it even possible to show up late and get in? we have no reservations whatsoever.

3 Anything else going on or other events going on the days before the festival? Things to do? Best bars in town? Also if there are a couple of people / groups trying to meet other tourists please feel free to send a message (:

Thank you so much if you have a moment to help with this!
