Need advice on "What I'm looking for"

So my buddy set up an online profile and he started talking to a few women. On two of their profiles they have listed in the "What I'm actually looking for" section is very close like this "I’m looking for a good guy to spend time with and seeing where that goes"

Does this imply they want a relationship, or is this more like a fancy way of saying they just want to hook up?

He's beem burned a few times, but I'm realizing that is about the same answers that I've read.

EDIT: I should add that he's 31 and one woman is 44 and the other is 42. The other woman who doesn't have that in her profile is 27.
