Don't respond or be honest?
Post Body

I received an intro message from someone. Fast forward a few hours and I get a second message from the same person apologizing for the first message (which was fine, non-insulting, and actually pretty darned funny).

Alarm bells went off in my head, "Holy crikey batman, this person is insecure and potentially crazy." My assertion about their insecurity valid or not - is it better to simply not respond or let them know that the rapid fire backpedaling sent of alarm bells?

Thanks!
