What does being "open minded" actually mean?

I keep seeing profiles from what seems to be fairly conservative women who describe themselves as "open minded" or ask you to message them if you are "open minded". Open minded to what exactly? It's so common it's practically a cliche. Is it just an adjective to fill empty space or am I missing something?
