I realize this sub is primarily used for hook ups, selling OF, and scammers but I figured I’d reach out to see if there are any real people.
I’ve lived in Ohio for far too long and have done a poor job at making friends. I’ve put a lot of effort into my job and have gotten quite comfortable. I’m also fairly shy so just going out to meet people doesn’t work for me.
I’m looking for primarily platonic friendships. I love live music and would love to have someone or a group of people to go to shows with. It could be big concerts or local bands or just small live music at a bar or something. I also love being out in nature so would like someone to show me some cool trails and maybe eventually work up to some serious hikes. I’m a natural home body and game quite a bit so that’s an option as well. I’d also really like to play D&D. I’ve never played but have had the interest for a while now. Primarily I’m just looking for connections I guess. Something I’ve always been fairly bad at.
As a disclaimer I guess, I am straight. I don’t care about your sexual orientation and respect everyone until they give me a reason not to. I’m also not necessarily looking for anything romantic, but life does weird things and if that type of connection forms then cool. It’s just not my main focus here.
