Really, there is no method that can produce a guaranteed pregnancy. Medically, there isn't conclusive evidence that artificial or natural insemination is better than the other. In any case, as long as sperm make their way into the vagina, they can make their way to an egg.
Even in healthy individuals, it could take 3 months to a year to conceive. So don't give up if the first few attempts don't work out, the chances of everything going right can be fickle. If conception is taking longer than that, talk to your doctor about testing for easily missed conditions like Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS), or sperm abnormalities (if you haven't produced children yet).
