My mom has family in Ohio and they can get us set up with a decent town house and a job for me that can match my hours but they don't know if it'll match my pay but that's besides the point.

They said that the place is in columbus ohio specifically. I heard horrible stuff about ohio from her kids, her , you guys. For example racism, sun down towns pseudo segregation where pocs are expected to just keep driving through some towns because racism and the likes still thrive. I even heard that they did a study and most of the ppl racist to my race (black) are from Ohio. I didnt verify so you guys can laugh at me for that.

But I heard how good the jobs are, how cheap and decent the buildings and schools are. I want good chance in life and I think I can build it easier there but not if my or my families safety is a sacrifice I have to make. I would like you guys to tell me your experience and if you can please add your race and generally your age like say early, or late 20s,30s etc.
