Managing Expectations

Hey guys! So I've been playing OTC for like 10 hours now, I cannot get past Managing Expectations. I keep getting off to a decently strong start, and then slowly lag behind in a game until someone buys me out.
I end up having a lot of capitol, but I think I'm having trouble manipulating the market. I do alright with the hacking array.
But what I can't figure out is how to really crash someone's stock so I can buy them out, or how to get my stock price higher. I keep plateauing.
