Post Body

I work in a clothing apparel/embroidery company. My department sends in edited pictures of clothes to different companies to confirm if they are within brand standards before we start putting the logos on the clothes.

My boss (whos kind of all over the place) will tell me to relay information to the Image/Art department on how to batch together PDFs or compress images so they can be uploaded to specific company websites for approval. Sometimes these processes are a bit complicated (ex: "Tell John to batch these PDFs by style, name them by design number, compress them to under 5MB and then cc me and then upload them to dropbox and the share drive"). When I write out these emails sometimes the image department will come back requesting clarification. Id like to add to the end of my email that im happy to explain it to them verbally, but only if they need me to. How do i word this without making it seem like im calling them idiots? i completely understand that these instructions are confusing, but most of that department has been here far longer than me so i dont want to sound like im trying to tell them how to do their job.
