Hi! I got myself a Ekornes Stressless Tokyo Home office chair a couple of years ago, which was a godsend during the pandemic. Following a refurbishing of my apartment, however, my new office table is a bit higher than my previous, and cannot be altered. The gas lift on the chair has a very small range, and cannot reach the heights necessary for a comfortable seating. It has a max height of 56 cm, but ideally I would want to get another 5-8 cm.
Does anyone here have any advice on how one would go about getting a gas cylinder with increased height? I have tried identifying the type of cylinder already attached to the chair, but honestly do not know what to look for. The producer has sadly not replied on several queries, so hoping someone here might be able to help.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions!
