Defederation from godadd
Post Body

********************SOLVED*********************** Hello All,

So I setup a home lab that incorporates a hybrid environment with Azure AD, On-Prem AD, and Office 365. I bought a domain from Godaddy and soon realized I screwed up as their O365 management was not what I expected. I successfully defederated from Godaddy and removed their roles from within my O365 admin portal. I have cancelled my domain renewal (I have it for a year from today). My question is what will happen to my domain after a year? If I am not paying godaddy will it just stop working after a year or does Microsoft manage it now? It shows managed when I look it up in powershell so I know everything was moved over successfully. I am new to this so please excuse my ignorance.
