Now before you say that this post is anti-poor or whatnot, I own a motorcycle. I reserve my motorcycle rides during weekends or for short trips within my hometown. I still drive to and from work because I travel with my work laptop and I normally wear semi-formal attire to work.
Motorcycles have been a very viable mode of transportation within the past few years. It's nimble, it will most likely get you where you need to go quicker than commuting/driving, and it's relatively affordable especially with gas and maintenance.
-- Lol all those statements are not true, I'm not rich and i work to pay off my dues, and again i drive my motorcycle from time to time.
Sir, kaya nga nag motor kami para mabilis makarating sa pupuntahan namin -- yes it gets you there quicker, but do not drive at the expense of endangering other road users. If you want to be where you are on time or earlier, umalis ka ng mas maaga.
-- so? When you bought your motorcycle hindi ba nag occur sayo na open space yan? Na exposed ka sa elements ng kalsada? As bad as our transpory situation is, hindi ni require na mag travel via motor. Imagine travelling 40kph on a wet road tapos bigla ka hihinto sa kalsada, delikado yun diba?
Again, not all ah. Pero a majority of motorcyle riders ganito ang ugali. And im not saying lahat ng naka kotse mabait sa daan, but with the rise of MC riders, we need to be responsible in sharing the road.
Not because you can load it on your MC does not mean you should.
