I stopped someone from commiting suicide. 🥰
Post Body

Exactly 4 months ago today. I stopped a fellow Redditor from commiting suicide. I was just going through my feed as usual. (Sorry this is an NSFW account) I saw a post in this sub of a woman having a hard time. I knew I had to do something about it coz in her post, there was already a deadline. She was even sorry that she would soon leave her kitten. The sad part is that there was this evil redditor with a name u/dis...(mentioning of usernames is considered doxxxing ba?) who was actually pushing her to do it. I was like, damnn this person is so bad. ☹️😡

So I did what I have to do. I kept on messaging this suicidal redditor, I didn't care if I was using an NSFW account anymore. Every second counts now. I got a reply after 2 hours or so. And I gained her trust to share her grief. But no matter what convincing I did, she was still decided to push through. I was really angry at that girl redditor who was pushing her to continue.😤

She made a post after a day or two from the deadline that she woke up in the hospital. I WAS SO HAPPY! We don't even know each other but it was such an amazing moment for me to be able to help a total stranger. We chat a lot and basically, checking her every day became a habit for me.

Chill, hindi love story ending neto hahahaha. She's older than me. Anyway, I always talked to her until such time that she got out of the hospital. I would always ask how she is doing. She got better and better until such time that she told me she no longer needed my help since she feels like she's starting to become a liability.

She did thank me a lot for the help I offered that day. If I have not reached out, she said she could have really done it.

We can always be guardian angels of people around us no matter what age, race, or gender. A small initiative can go a long way and save a life! I am so happy that she is very much alive and well right now! It really makes my heart full! 🥰 We can spread a positive impact to others! Let us avoid spreading hate and toxicity among others.🥰

P.S. She is a Kakampink 🌹
