Got my wallet back from a scavenger in dumpsite Payatas area
Post Body

Hi everyone! Share ko lang naging experience ko recently on how I got my wallet back from a good Samaritan.

Last Saturday, someone snatched my wallet from my open bag at SM Southmall grocery area around 1:20 pm. I found out once I got home around 2:30 PM, called the banks to block my 2 debit and 1 credit card. Good thing there were no new transactions. We went back to the mall to report for my missing wallet and filed a report to access the CCTV footage on that time. No update until now actually.

Sunday still no update. Then yesterday, I went to my errands to duplicate my IDs (affidavit of loss, replacement of debit card, Barangay blotter, etc).

Last night around 11 pm someone messaged me on messenger and claimed she got my phone wallet with the IDs intact on the Payatas dumpsite. The money was gone but the IDs and other cards were wrapped with tissue paper. She sent me picture and proof of the IDs. We even do a video call. I booked a pick up service but to no avail since no drivers are available at the time hence had it delivered this morning.

My teary eyes was touched when she said "wag nyo na po ako bigyan (ng pera). Kayo naman po ang nawalan. Ang importante mabalik ko lang po ito sa inyo. Pang 5 ko na po ito nabalik na wallet. Yung isa po dun taga Parañaque." Despite their living conditions in the squatters area, she still chose to be kind. Thank you so much to my angel in disguise.
