Why can’t people be just painstakingly honest?
Post Body

Why give a comforting lie instead of a harsh truth? Everyone deserves the truth no matter how painful it is right?

If you don’t like someone or is not interested in dating them or pursuing them, why can’t you just tell them? Instead of giving them false hope through your actions and mixed signals, not responding to their messages, ghosting them and giving them reasons like, you’re really busy with work. And then a week after, you’re already dating someone new.

Being honest and straightforward will definitely hurt the person yes, but at least, he/she knows the real reason right? As compared to overthinking what went wrong, having trust issues and leaving someone hanging.
