Suggesting someone's nether regions may smell is "body shaming"?

There was a post where OP said their SO wouldn't go down on them. I said that maybe it smells funky down there. There's some people that aren’t fond of those smells. Some people aren't very clean. Yet somehow my comment got interpreted in the lens of body shaming.
