I just found out through the dashcam in the car that my dad was talking with this ‘woman’ via a phone call. To give you guys some context, he is working in the Middle East, and he justified his sudden return here by saying he would accompany Mom to her checkup and operation (she has glaucoma). I overheard through the dashcam that my dad really came home for this woman and that he would go to her wherever she is. From what I gathered, the woman is currently in Batangas but also works in the same country as my dad.

My dad is also acting very strangely. He has become excessively conscious of his appearance, to the point where he envied my complexion. I told him that he can’t take what I used to take because I was on Isotretinoin at that time, which can be harmful to the liver if not taken with caution. My dad has never acted like this in my 27 years of existence. He has never lied, always comes home no matter how late it is, and has been a great provider and a role model for being a disciplinarian. He always tells me, ‘Use your head and don’t do stupid things.’

Now, I feel lost. I can’t even work properly right now. My mom’s instincts were right. It’s my fault that I brushed her off, saying it’s nothing and that he might be lying through his teeth, but it doesn’t imply that he’s having an affair. I don’t know how to feel now. I really want to get this off my chest, but even if I do, there’s still so much left unsaid. I won’t be able to look him straight in the eyes anymore. All the inspiration and motivation he has given me has shattered.

Update: the evidence on the SD card that I have got corrupted!! Idk, it just shows Lost.dir file fck!! My dad’s angels just so fcking strong. If there’s anyone out there that knows how to recover the dashcam vids where my dad can be heard talking to this person, pls help. Thank you
