“we don’t move on. we move forward.”

we strive to forget the things that put us in misery, but we don’t seem to realize na no matter how hard we try, we can never really forget.
i believe na not all wounds are meant to heal. they may have already shaped who we are today, and they will never truly disappear. instead, they are just carried with us as we enter the next chapter of our lives, and what we do with our time after they have passed is what aids in our “healing.”
we grow around our grief and move forward with it.
