I went out this afternoon to meet my tita in Manila. At first sinamahan niya ako sa PGH to check on something. Then, we went to Rob Ermita to have lunch and mag window shop narin. So, while nasa Jollibee ako, for some reason, I have this urge na umorder ng marami kase feeling ko sobrang gutom ako and I was thinking of ordering 3 additional cheeseburgers to go para pang midnight snack ko and mom since naka 3 days leave naman ako from work.

My tita asked me bakit ang dami kong inorder na burger? So inexplain ko naman sa kanya why and she just nodded. So we had our lunch and kamustahan narin. Then nag window shop narin kami after. Then she invited me sa place niya since malapit lang naman yung condo niya sa Rob Ermita and PGH. Pag labas namin ni tita ng mall, I saw a lola and her apo asking for money to buy food sa isang guy. But dedma lang si kuya. I felt bad kase I know hirap na si lola dun and the apo was like sitting beside her lola. So, I told my tita na I will give the 2 burgers to them nalang. Then my tita told me to wait kase she will buy bottled water narin for them. So we went to this convenient store and bought 2 bottled water and whole bread narin for them. We went back to give the food to lola and her apo and she smiled and said “salamat mga apo. Makakakain narin kami ngayon.” Then my tita gave P500 to the lola and I added P200. I said I’m sorry kase yan lang yung extra ko. But the lola was very grateful and said salamat. Tita and I left na and my tita saw me crying and told me “tears of joy yan. Yan yung feeling na nakatulong ka sa kapwa mo” then she hugged me.

I’m not posting this to get some papuri or what. I’m just happy that I helped someone today. I just want to share it kase ever since naman I give to those in need. But this time, It felt different eh. I’m so happy. Until I went home and told my mother about it and she just smiled and hugged me. Until now habang tinatype ko to medjo naiiyak pa ako. Haha!
