So I have a small getaway cabin for hunting that is very remote. When I bought it, it has a 400w solar array to a 100AH lifepo4 battery and 3000w inverter. I now keep a 4 wheeler there and with the extreme cold, the battery on the quad tends to drain if I'm not there in a few weeks. I really don't want to leave the inverter running with a battery maintainer going continuously. My question is: how can I keep the ATV battery topped up using the solar battery bank "safely." I'm afraid to hook it up directly with jumper cables. Any suggestions? Thanks
