GROWATT 3500W 48V ALL-IN-ONE . In the manual it states with lithium batteries you connect a RJ45 from the all-in-one to the BMS on the battery. Is the RJ45 cable needed?

3500W 48V ALL-IN-ONE . In the manual it states with lithium batteries you connect a RJ45 from the all-in-one to the BMS on the battery. I have 4 12v Lithiums connect to make a 48v system but I have no RJ45 port on these batteries. Is it fine to not connect a RJ45 cable or do I need batteries with a RJ45 cable?
