So my Wife (GM), 3 friends and myself, Just started a play through of the Odyssey of the Dragon.

So i know the starting level says 1st level. but I saw a play though that started at level 3.

My question is this is most groups starting at level 3 and not level 1????

Also did anyone else who started at level 1 have a hard time with the Boar fight, and the chasm, first part of the temple fight? yes i know we are a 4 person team. but we are all experienced players and still got our butts kicked. I'm just wondering if we are playing this wrong in some way.

What is the highest level any party has gotten too? I've see it say level 15 , but I've see some players say they do not even get to level 15 by the end of the story arc.
