anyone experiencing issues with quest link?

I play desktop pc using a third party link cable and it's worked fine for 5 months until the past few days. The resolution seems to have dropped meaning alot of things are harder to focus on. There is also bar of what I can only describe as bitrate drops. But its almost like its just a filter, a bar that makes everything look bad.
If anyone has experienced this before, is there a fix? Or is it due to a new software update?
