Are you able to see the borders on the quest 1 or two?

I have a htc vive which I haven't been able to use for a while do to life and moving into an apartment with my girlfriend. But to my memory and knowledge I wasn't able to see the borders of the screen and am wondering if that will be the case for the quests as well or if I will be able to see the edges.
