Preventing VR motion sickness

I was playing rec room with a friend and I haven’t gotten used to walking around so I started feeling discomfort and took off the headset for a bit as I almost threw up. How can I prevent this? I don’t experience motion sickness typically and this is the first game it’s happened in.
