Has anyone else found Beat Saber tracking to never be on par with the Rift CV1?

Post Body

This isn't a thread to try and trash on the Quest, because I love the Quest, but I've always had issues specifically with Beat Saber that no one ever seems to relate to.

Basically, when I first played Beat Saber, it was on my PC, with the Rift CV1. The tracking always felt zero latency. The Saber were always in line with my hands, absolutely no lagging behind whatsoever. No matter how fast I moved.

But with both the Quest 1 and 2, I've always felt that the Saber lag behind slightly. It's not by much, but it's definitely noticable, and I find it feels hindering when it comes to really fast patterns, patterns I feel like I could hit on the Rift without that slight delay.

I play in a big room with a ton of lighting.

Most of the times I see people talk about tracking issues or related to losing tracking, or inaccurate tracking, not latency. It's something I notice in any game where you have a long object like a saber or a sword. There just a slight lagging behind.

Have I just gotten back luck with two headsets that have bad tracking or something, because people seem to have the sentiment that the Quest 2 tracking is on par, or better than the Rift, and I've had the opposite experience.

One weird thing I noticed is my friend who had a Rift, on his setup on his PC, the tracking felt similar to what I describe on the Quest. It had a lagging behind feeling.

Just curious on others experiences.
