I recently got a Quest 3 and am really enjoying VR, but the part I still struggle with majorly is the motion sickness caused by navigating games with the control stick. I started playing Espire today which is a lot of fun, but again could only play for ~20 minutes before the nausea started setting in and I had to stop.
But it got me thinking: Are there any games that let you switch between 3rd and 1st person whenever you want? Specifically in Espire it would be great if you could navigate the world in 3rd person like you would in Metal Gear Solid, but then when you run into enemies you hit a button that switches you to 1st person for shooting and more nuanced gameplay. Does anything like this exist? Would anyone else be interested in an experience like this?
I'm loving VR, but hate that a bunch of games make me sick just through some of their fundamental gameplay.
