I grew up loving the Wii, I had some disposable income and purchased my first Nintendo Switch and it really didn't scratch that itch. Now I want to try VR for the first time ever, and I'm also fascinated by using VR for productivity like shown off in the Apple Vision Pro Commercials. I prefer the Quest because of the Gaming catalog and the openness of their platform. But with such incredible deals on the Quest 2, I'm debating between purchasing it or the 3 when it seems that the Quest 2 is sufficient for gaming. I'm also considering the Quest 3 because of the color pass through technology, weight distribution, and supposedly better lenses? Can anyone who has had both tell me is the Quest 3 that much better for productivity? Having screens up with pass-through seems wonderful, and I don't have a multi-screen setup in real life. Does the Quest 2 also support working with passthrough?
