Hey all,
Over the past few days I've spent a lot of time smurfing in game and honestly, I've been pretty surprised by how some people have been treating other players in game. I'm not going to name names - you know who you are.
This is just a sneaky reminder to not lose your cool in game - especially towards newer players.
If you're feeling angry and frustrated, take a break (even for 1 or 2 minutes), go outside, have a drink (alcoholic preferably), come back, and turn your stats off. There's no point being mad at your team mates mistakes because:
- They're just there to have fun and don't want some jerk berating them.
- They don't care about what you think.
- Their mistake was an accident.
If you're still having problems, come on mumble and organise a PUG to get away from those pesky PUB scrubs or just stop playing TagPro for the day.
If you see people losing their cool towards players, let them know, in a polite way, that what they're doing is not on. If anyone is being overly offensive report them in game and let Hoog, Konichiwa or I know. If none of us are available, go here and talk to other mods on IRC
The biggest reason we all stick around is not really because of the game, but because of all the people who play the game. Remember that everyone here is the community, and that everything you say in game is on behalf of thecommunity.
Thanks to everyone who's been helping out the new players over the past few days, you guys are the best <3
In other news, there is a massive, massive announcement to be released tomorrow regarding the future of TagPro. Get hyped!
