I was recently dismissed from my Ot for having 3 Cs. I wasn’t placed on any sort of academic probation. The school would complain I went to talk to the professors too much. Well I had a bad start to my semester so I was having to play catch up. I wanted to do well and get my grades up but it really bothers me they would complain about me going to talk to professors a lot. Isn’t that their job?? I have adhd and it’s hard for me to process lectures when they fly through the slides. So I make a note on a particular topic and go ask them to explain it because I was confused about it. Now the program still has me included in the department email thread. I feel like it’s unprofessional as well to have someone you just dismissed. Is there anything I can do about any of this? The whole experience feels very unprofessional and shady. I was making higher grades on my test and did really good on my finals. I just don’t understand why I was given any option to get on academic probation or why they would complain about student teacher meetings…
