Day Planner Plugin - Command Mode

Been using this plugin for a while. For some reason it's now defaulting to the Daily Note (I don't want this). Looking at the git I need to switch it (back ) to command mode. I SWEAR I saw this option somewhere while trouble shooting earlier but can't find it now. Chances are my eyes are slipping past it, but is there some other option I need to enable? Or can someone show me where the option is?

I want to be able to "link planner to current note" and its no longer an option. Driving me BONKERS. Also not sure why it stopped working all of a sudden. Have found nothing with some googling.
