Noob question
Post Body

Hi all,

I am making the switch to Obsidian from OneNote, but am not particularly tech savvy and am very confused with a certain feature.

I am trying to store my Obsidian files on my D:/ drive, not my C:/ drive where Obsidian decided to install itself. This is because I have a lot of images t upload which are quite heavy. I looked up how to set a separate save location for these images and 'vaults' by going to files and links and setting default location for new attachments to 'the folder specified below' but no-where does it explain how to set that folder. I've tried variations of 'D:/Obsidian_images' but I can't get the images to save anywhere but the install location.

Any help would be dearly appreciated, in the most non-tech explaination possible!

Best,
