I don’t know if it’s just me or if anyone else has done this on occasion, but sometimes while I’m taking a walk I’ll look around for spots where someone could feasibly pop out seemingly from nowhere along the route I take, not because I’m afraid of someone popping out, but because of the hypothetical situation that someone who likes me could be in the various spots waiting for me to come by for them to pop out and say hello among other things.
