Been trialing a handful of psych and sleeping meds these past several months and these are the more obscure ones I’ve run into. Not pictured is 1, 2, and 3mg preparations of Eszopiclone.
Auvelity was an interesting drug because it’s marketed as an oral NMDA antagonist. DXM is an NMDA antagonist on its own but Auvelity uses bupropion, a CYP2D6 inhibitor, to increase and prolong plasma concentrations of dextromethorphan. It’s nowhere near as strong as ketamine or esketamine but it is still interesting to me that this antidepressant is mainly targeting glutamate.
