After his retirement my grandpa still had a private doctor‘s office in his cella where he also left many different tools, machines and medications. I found many interest things and some meds I got specially interested in, following:
Tempil N: 2.5mg of Diphenylpyralinhydrochlorid 10mg of 2-Dimethylaminopropiophenonhydrochlorid (Metamfepramonhydrochlorid) 250mg of Acetylsalicylic Acid
Allonial: 50mg of 5-Allyl-5-iso-propylbarbituric acid 110mg of 1-Phenyl-2,3-dimethyl-4-isopropyl-pyrazolon(5)
Trisomnin: 60mg of Secobarbital-Natrium 30mg of Secbutabarbital-Natrium 60mg of Phenobarbital
Bellergal Sandoz: 0.1mg of Belladonna-Full alkaloids (Bellafolin) (L-Hyoscyamin-Content 85 g/g %) 0.3mg of Ergotamintartrat (Gynergen) 20mg Phenobarbital
It‘s in German but I tried to translate what I could and guess you understand the ingredients as the name of them are pretty similar in English.
I wanted to ask which of these are somehow usable for depression, (social) anxiety, generalized anxiety, sleep disorder, ADHD (which I all suffer from) or for recreational use? Are these of any worth at all?
I guess the Phenobarbitals? But there also still are some other ingredients in it, never Phenobarbital solo. Then the bella… something? What are these good for, what do they do? Any info, suggestions, assumptions and knowledge welcome!
I sadly can‘t find any „expiry date“ on these meds but as I can see from their look and design they are definitely decades old and minimum (!) from 90s or 80s. Are they even effective or especially safe/toxic when so old?
Let me know anything you know or think about this! Are these treasures or junk which I should definitely not consume? Thanks!
