I suddenly gained an interest in Chlorobutanol and decided to make some. I purified it by recrystallization in acetone and then sublimation.

I weighed out one gram of dried crystalline Chlorobutanol and packed it into a capsule

T-00:00 I took a vitamin C packet, 750mg GABA, and a mens multivitamin pill before taking the Chlorobutanol

T-10:00 No effects noticed yet, I assume they should appear within 30 minutes

T-20:00 Extremely space feeling, similar to alcohol and I can taste the camphor smell Chlorobutanol has in my mouth, theres also a really light body high

T-22:00 my jaw feels really heavy while I eat

T-30:00 Stretching feels so good and I feel like im being weighed against my bed, I also have music enhancement

T-37:00 Im listening to Doomsday by MF Doom and its so crisp

T-40:00 I feel super sleepy and my eye lids feel really heavy

T-2:55 Fell asleep but just woke up with some effects remaining

T-3:15 I took .2g more, I noticed there was a lot of physical euphoria and I felt slightly tipsy, laying in bed felt like I was melting into my mattress with a stress free mind set which is what caused me to fall asleep for the next 2 hours

T-3:20 I still notice effects but they aren’t as powerful as they were before, last time I did a low dose the effects lasted for 14 hours so I assume ill have the same numbing effect for the next 11 hours or so.

Overall the experience was actually very pleasant and I enjoyed the sedation it provided. I most likely will continue using this every once in a while due to the great sensation it gave but I wont be doing it too often. I’d recommend trying it atleast once because of the enjoyable GABAergic effects it gives.
