I know this isn’t the typical post but it’s something I have yet to see fully discussed. I want to compile a short list of barbiturates in order of euphoria / recreational value. I know nembutal and seconal will likely be on the top, with phenobarbital near the bottom. But I’m curious about the ones in between. Specifically, the barbs labeled short-intermediate acting because I believe there’s some that are more rapid/euphoric than others yet they tend to get lumped into one category. Also open to anyone who disagrees with the well-known top and bottoms.

Other common barbs to discuss that come to mind:

Butobarbitol (Soneryl), Amobarbital (Amytal), Butabarbital (Butisol), Aprobarbital (Somnifaine), Butalbital (most known as a part of Fiorcet)

**Butabarbital and Butalbarbital are very commonly mixed up by the way. They are most certainly not the same. I believe Butabarbital to be more euphoric, but curious to see other opinions/insights
