Wednesday night home games used to be $1 upper reserve tickets and $1 hot dogs. You could only buy ten dogs at a time (I would make multiple trips to concessions) and parking was $10.
By the seventh inning you moved down to the first deck. With another ten dogs.
I saw great baseball too. Giambi, Tejada, Chavez, The Big Three, division titles, multiple MVP’s, the twenty game streak…
I can’t tell you how many hump days I spent at the coliseum. If this team does end up moving to Vegas, these evenings will be some of my fondest baseball memories.
Anyone else remember this?
