New to the channel here, but I felt compelled to get on and share my thoughts to see if I’m among others with these thoughts or alone.

My Dad and I have watched the show for years (were both really into the treasure hunt), and I’d say overall I’ve had a love hate relationship with it as time goes on.

But lately in season 8, it just feels so much more repetitive and lacking in energy.

I just feel like it is beginning to feel more and more deliberately “fraudulent” or “faked” in order to string us along.

And with the installment of the “Beyond Oak Island” it kind of feels like they are trying to move on and exit the island.

Idk why else I feel this way, it just seems like the writing is on the walls it’s ending. I’m losing my faith that those involved actually believe there is something on the island.
