Google has been no help, and I searched the sub before posting and Im not seeing my issue. Ive found solutions for when team/group chat isnt working overall...but thats not whats going on here.

Team chat is working. I can hear other players in team chat, they cannot hear me.

I go to my console settings and can see that my mic is working in the "Adjust Microphone Level" option, and can hear it in my headset. But once I launch OW, nothing. No indication in the top left corner that the mic is picking anything up (when username and speaker symbol shows that the mic is active)

I noticed this during a match when someone was claiming I wasnt doing anything and when I responded they didnt acknowledge the response. I spoke up a few more times and thats when I noticed the lack of mic indicator on screen.

Ive double checked my headphone jacks, the console settings, the game settings, closed the game/application and restarted, shut down console and restarted...not sure what else to do :/
