What should I do before starting the program? Not planning to enroll until Spring 2022
Post Body

Hi everyone, thanks in advance for an advice.

I just graduated with a B.S. in Education and minor in history. I graduated with a 3.0. The last year of my program I realized I’m not interested in being a teacher.

My brother works as a programmer and has shown me a lot of the work he does and I think that career would suit me. Hes going to be living nearby for at least the next year so he’ll be available to help me learn to code and I’ll probably have the chance to help him on some projects.

What are some things you wish you had done to prepare before starting the program? If you worked full time while in school, how did you manage? I worked all through my undergrad and plan to continue working full time. I’m anticipating struggling a little because I have adhd, but I’m medicated and figure if I was able to manage 6 courses at a time during my undergrad degree I can probably get through this program.
