TRASH SERVICE - TRASH SUPPORT

Me and my family have been optimum/suddenlink customers almost our whole lives. I will preface. OPTIMUM IS GOOD WHEN IT WORKS but thatā€™s hit or miss.

Each time we lose a bit of connection and it comes back itā€™s always 30 Mbps Down - 50 Upload. Even though I pay for the Gig. Each time this happens Iā€™m advised by support to schedule a tech!

But they donā€™t have a day for atleast a week that they can be out. So now I have to wait to even use my internet somewhat. I canā€™t even have one phone connected! No prorated bill, no real support.

Talked to the customer service line just for them to push me to the ā€œadvanced care teamā€ NOT

I was hung up on by this advanced care team twice before getting to a tech that was somewhat helpful. But by the end of the call she said it was an area wide outage and a tech would get us all up and running soon. But 2 days ago there was no outage and it was just my issue?

So now theyā€™re saying itā€™s an area wide outage and they cancelled my tech for the 10th. She told me to call back an reschedule if the issue persist! Lovely service, lovely company.

Sadly, I canā€™t take my money elsewhere because optimum does an area buyout and I canā€™t get any actually good service. They have me seriously contemplating moving just to be able to do my work. Shameful

My rant is over EDIT: just to let that knife cut into my side a bit deeper

Talked to support again! No outage in my area . Cancelled service for no reason
