I am trying to kick someone off my router/change my password. When I go into the Optimum website and access router management I get "Sorry, we're having trouble accessing your router settings.". I have spoken to customer service about 11 times within the last two days trying to get this issue resolved. When I called over the phone the lady said she was able to change my router password manually over the phone but the call quality was horrible and she wasn't able to understand what I was saying. I'm about to switch to Frontier because this is ridiculous. If anyone can possibly give me a workaround to access the router settings I would be extremely grateful.
Yes. I had to call them to change the pw that came with the router to keep my kids offline at night (I use a router with parental controls but they were able to connect directly to the modem). They handled it but this was 20 minutes of my time that should be handled on the web page in 30 seconds.
