Gateway 6 issues?

Over the last week I’ve had awful connection problems. The DS/US light keeps blinking. A week ago my internet was great. But for the last week I get maybe a few hours at night that my internet is working. Any solutions? I’ve tried restarting, a lot. I’ve tried undoing the splitter and having it connected to the main cable. I’m so frustrated
