As many of us know, Bandai is likely to release Luffy's next transformation as an EX unit in the coming 4.5 anniversary. I think Luffy's new form is already widely known even for anime-only people, but I'll still put a spoiler tag on this post.
I wanted to make a proper post to gather the ideas of the community: what skills and class do you think the new Luffy will have? You'll find the highlight attacks of G5 Luffy below. Here's a couple personal thoughts:
- Hybrid Yamato is an attacker, and up until now Bandai has not released several same-class EXs in a row during anniversary celebrations, so G5 Luffy is not likely to be released as a pure attacker.
- The next Luffy could not only be his G5 form. Just like Raid Big Mom can switch between different forms, the base form of next EX Luffy could be his actual base form, and then switch to G5 when using skill 1 or 2, to then later return to base form using a skill as well. In this case some of his skills could be attacks from the part of the fight before G5.
- Remember that Bandai has got quite creative with skills lately. So don't hesitate to share some wild ideas, as long as it makes some sense!
Throwing enemies around... why not. We already have BB and Trebol doing some Banshō Ten'in type shit.

Turning into a giant? If G5 Luffy is a hybrid something-Runner, he could make a giant leap to the other side of the map like Hybrid Kaido.

Spinning King's haki fists. This one could be a deadly AoE skill, knocking enemies back and stunning them for example.
Told you there was no brain in there.
Grabbing lightning and shocking enemies.
And the Grande Finale... Bajrang Gun. If they gave him this skill, how would they make it different from King Kong Gun?

I think G5 will not include his base form, his regular form will be him with his white hair & huge smile & then he’ll transform after using attacks like all the rest of the class/element changers. If they gave him a non gear form he’d look too much like EX Luffy & Raid on Oni Luffy
