I'm new to OOTP but have read a bunch although I'm still not certain on how I should be allocating players between my various minor league teams. Most notably there seems to be a lot of overlap between DSL, ACL, and A-.
I have AAA, AA, A, A-, ACL, DSL.
From what I've read I should put international amateurs into DSL first, high school draftees into ACL first, and college draftees into A-. Is that correct? If so how do I fill those teams with enough players? I only draft 15 at a time so it's impossible to fill three rosters. Do I just sign crappy free agents to fill them?
The other thing is I've been promoting linearly through every league. Should I be skipping some? For instance if a kid plays lights out in DSL should I move him right into A or AA?
Loving the game, there's so much depth to keep me interested!
