doing a rewatch. i've been reading the sub for a few weeks and seeing everyone's opinions. i haven't seen much about lucas and lindsey. though i hate how luke treated her when peyton first got back, it's clear lindsey truly loved him, every part of him. before the proposal when she told him she'd love him even if he wasn't a writer, i think that's when he realized how devoted to him she is. and how peyton only wanted to marry him "after their dreams came true." and how she wanted to stay in LA and not be with him. but luke found someone who wanted to be with him when/if his dreams came true, and more importantly, would still be with him even if they didn't. she even left NY to be with him. everything peyton didn't do for him. IMO i like luke and lindsey together far more than luke and peyton. i also just dislike peyton lol. she has a weird obsession with lucas whenever he's in a relationship with someone else but when he's single she doesn't care. it's just odd. but i wish lucas and lindsey were endgame 🤷🏼‍♀️
