Hello all. I know this question gets asked a ton on here but thought I’d ask anyways.
I have a BS in Aerospace Engineering and a Master’s in Systems Engineering (Penn State). Both about a 3.0 GPA.
I have 1 year experience as an Aerospace Engineer and 2.5 years as a Software Quality/Test Engineer at a major Defense Contractor.
My official CS course history is limited to intro to programming and several MATLAB/Python courses for my major. I am self taught in C and Python as I really like programming and try to do it in my spare time.
The reason I want to pursue this is to transition into more of a sw development role (company requires a degree in a related field)
What are my chances of getting in? Would I need some pre-req courses to even be considered?
Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated.
TIA!
