Good course to get a feel for machine learning?

I'm considering applying to OMSCS and am looking into the Machine Learning specialization, but first I wanted to first do a "test run" by trying out an intro course and make sure I like it enough, and also would like to make sure I can stay committed to a course.
I saw that these are offered online through Udacity for free which is amazing, so would the "Machine Learning" course be a good place to start? Also, the "Machine Learning for Trading" course sounded particularly interesting, is it feasible to do both of these while working full-time?
